I found this little guy pollinating my garden!
My husband and I just built some raised garden beds for some florals and plants. I wanna fill it up but unsure on what to use to help fill the gaps. Any ideas would be
John Ehrling Welcome Raven! Looks great!!! Do you know specifically which plants you have? I want to make sure I don’t recommend some combative plants.
You can also use the GardenAi that is built into this app. If you click the cube in the top left, it is on the bottom. It works really well for questions like this!
Hey everyone!
Im starting my first ever garden in the next few days and I could really use some tips!
John Ehrling Welcome Jaclyn! What kind of a garden are you starting? Raised beds, rows, square foot gardening?
Jaclyn Delfino I’m planning on doing two raised beds, one with vegetables and the other with seasonal flowers
Started some perennials seeds Planted tomatoes peppers in 5 gallon buckets made a stand for them 3 buckets high and 4 buckets wide
John Ehrling Awesome setup! Functional and practical!
Cristelle Chambers Great simplistic garden. Love the color code too.
Brooke Super cool!
Jason Yes, bugs are horrible this time of year. I just purchased a purple passion fruit vine yesterday, and added some citrus, star fruit, and more banana plants to my collection/addiction. I have always gardened to an extent, but this time we bought a new house and I’m starting with a blank canvas. I can’t wait to see it all grow in. I envy some of the gardens I see online. I have far surpassed saving any money growing my own food, but at least I will know where it came from.
A few days ago I dug the sod out between the garden beds and fence. I added mulch. Eventually the mulch bed will run the length of my yard and have lots of fruit bearing plants, and hopefully a lush tropical landscape look. Attaching photos.
Jason This is my goal along the back fence line. (Not my photo)
Hello everyone! I grow primarily indoors using aquaponics. Does anyone have experience with aquaponics? I will post more pictures soon! Nice to be in the community!
John Ehrling Welcome Waylon! I don’t have much experience with aquaponics. I look forward to learning from you!
John Ehrling Hi Anacleta, I think it is narrowleaf plantain. It is often considered a weed.
Anacleta Steffen Yeah makes sense. Thanks John
