Corn crop was doing well until power outages and then raccoons got in and boom! The raccoons had a nice snack.

I used GardenAI to figure out what was wrong with my tomatoes. It said they are affected by a condition called catfacing - which has many different causes. It also gave me solutions to each cause. Pretty cool features!

Had a big electrical storm last night that caused a power outage. The raccoons got through the electric fence due to the outage and feasted on my corn 😓 That's gardening for ya!

I store seeds in old containers (Talenti Gelato are my favorite) and keep them refrigerated. I had seeds from 12 years ago germinate this year! Seeds are on sale now, so stock up and keep them in the fridge [:healthyeggplant] [:healthypepper] [:healthypeas]

Planted blackberries two years ago and they struggle to establish themselves. Finally, this year looks like they’ve settled in. Lots of flowers so I’m hoping to harvest a big crop. But will the birds let me?
