I have a raised metal bed 8'x4'x32" on its way to my house. I live in Central N.Y.
Seed packets identify my zone as 6A.
I am reading the Square foot Gardening 4th Edition.
I am new at gardening minus 3 years of trying to grow tomatos in pots that 2 of them tomatos had blossom rot. The 3rd year a wood chuck decimated every tomato plant.
This year I am recovering from a bone marrow transplant and hope for a home garden bounty of garden vegetables.

    • Brian Gentile I took care of my parents for a few years.
    They didn't know what they had until it was too late.
    I was so fortunate that both cancers were caught so early.
    Also my life was so much more than I ever thought minus never having a family of my own.
    A garden and the people who are gardeners feels so positive and right for me.
    My friend Barb and I are going over plans for her garden before the Super Bowl. I would like to share seeds with her.
