So true! [:healthycarrot]

Does anyone have experience growing microgreens on bamboo paper towels? I'd love to pick your brain! The only way I'll be able to keep up with it is if I can have the ease of the paper towels, I understand yield may be less but this is personal use and not a big deal. It's worth the sacrifice in some yield to me to not have to deal with coco coir. Thanks!

Bren I grow my microgreens in a coconut coir mix on trays. Using paper towels will make it easy for bacteria and mold to grow - speaking from my own experience using paper. Good Luck!

Hey ya'll!

If you have not had a chance to check out the group section, I encourage you to take a look! There are some great groups there including the one I run:

The Homesteading and Farming Community.

I really believe being part of a community really excels our passion and skills for what we love. Also, everyone can share their experiences and advice with other members of the group. It makes it much easier to engage in conversations as well.

Create your own group or find one your interested in! It's a great feature <3

Lizzie beautiful! The yellow ones are my fav.

I'm expanding veggie garden I will have 2"x12"x22 boards buried about 4" in the ground . Also adding a 2nd plot about half the size. Then another location for chayote squash I'm in zone 8b Ponchatoula Louisiana. Going to try many heirloom and foreign veggies.Of course flowers for hummingbirds and butterflies and blooms for pollinaters..If the weather cooperates , I'll get to work

Lizzie The more the better! Document is as you go please!

Andy Hi Mike! Congrats on expanding the garden! Are you burying the boards for tunneling critter protection or another reason?

We are developing a Community Plant / Flower / Fruit / Vegetable Garden for Veterans and for individuals that have challenges in their lives. This garden will provide healing and therapy for them. We want this flower garden be a haven / habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, and be a display for beautiful and fragrant flowers .
We encourages anyone with suggestions and opinions on your favorite flowers and roses to grow . Thank you so much.

Tommy Tomatoes I love growing azaleas!

Lizzie What a beautiful idea! Wormwood is a lovely plant with soft texture, Very pleasant to look at.

Hettie Zinnias are easy to grow and so pretty.

Andy For the pollinators, you can't go wrong with some native species. Search online by your state and "native flowers" to get started on some ideas.

communitygardener2023 Thank you so much for your ideas / suggestions from each of you that posted a response to our post. We will definitely add these to rhe garden.

Brand new to the app...just setting up my raised bed garden plans. I cannot figure out how to set up my individual planter boxes to my exact dimensions. I click on the corner to expand it...but it won't let me fiddle with the exact size. It shows me width and length...but they seem fixed. How can I enter the exact dimensions of my already established raised beds?

Lizzie Welcome Bel! What dimensions are you looking to get?
